Our leadership team includes several families that serve in a variety of capacities.
Our pastors are Steve McKinion and Scott Hildreth.
Steve and his wife Ginger are both originally from Mobile, Alabama, but have lived in the Triangle since 1998, after three years in Scotland. Steve is a professor at Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest. Their children are Lachlan, Blakely, and Harrison.
Scott and his wife Lesley moved to the Triangle in 2008 from Europe, where they spent eight years. Scott is the director of the Center for Great Commission Studies at Southeastern Seminary. Their children are Rachel and Jacob.
There are several other people that make up our leadership team:
Kevin Walker, Jonathan & Amanda McGill, and Derrick Metcalf lead worship on Sunday mornings.
Wendy Walker leads our ministry to children.
Micah & Haley Messersmith and Andrew & Lisa Potter lead our ministry to youth.
John and Allison Lewis help oversee our community groups.
Daniel Palmer is our chief visionary for connecting with the community.
Stacie Palmer helps teach children on Sunday nights.
But every person who is a part of our core planting group contributes to the inward and outward progress of the Gospel at New Covenant.
